case study: wedding photography
Frances contacted us in July 2016 in the hope that IDEAlee could capture their wedding day for them. The catch was that it was the following month in August 2016 as they had been let down by their previous wedding photographer.
In fact August was our opening month and this was to be our first IDEAlee wedding booking, although our Creative Director has had the honour of independently shooting a significant number of weddings over the last 10 years.
WHY US?
The Client selected us for a number of key reasons:

we were available on the big day and agreed to match the price that their previous photographer had quoted them

they viewed Lee’s wedding photography portfolio online and felt that his style matched their personalities and requirements;

they were impressed that we offer a face to face meeting with all our couples beforehand and that we offered to go to her home to be more convenient for them.
WHAT DID WE DO & HOW?
At the pre-wedding meeting it was a pleasure to meet Frances and Anthony and we built up a great rapport and banter instantly, which is important to put the couple at ease on their big day. We discussed the schedule for the day, shots they would like, timings they needed us for among other details of the big day. Following this we ensure with all Clients that we confirm our understanding in our ‘Final Wedding Arrangements Form’ and that we gain a specific shotlist at least a week in advance.
We obviously take photos to tell the story of a Client’s wedding day as a matter of course, for example the flowers, dress, venue, decorations, cake, guests etc, but we ask that the Client’s shotlist covers all formal group shots that they would like.
OUTCOME & FEEDBACK
The wedding photos were presented to the couple in under 2 weeks and we feel their testimonial below speaks for itself...
