What can I say? It’s been well over a month since I last had a spare moment to blog. Where on earth has 2016 gone - it’s December Eve, only 24 days until Christmas and 31 days until 2017!
I have to say I am still loving running my own business and being the master of my own destiny, but it continues to be a rollercoaster. I don’t usually like them but I definitely don’t want to get off this one!
This month we ran our first IDEAlee Facebook and Twitter campaigns to promote our 15% off Christmas photography packages. Despite a modest budget we had fantastic results in terms of web clicks, likes, shares, followers and the conversions to business far outweighed the spend.
Since we last met, when photography had tended to be our emphasis, we’ve done a complete 180 and have been focusing on exciting design based projects.
We’ve dabbled in to the world of
cafes creating some fun menus; continued our work with Bridgers Farm as mentioned in our recent facebook post and more recently helping them with their festive TV campaign; and top secret…shhhh… we are working on some unique baby announcement cards, the branding and identity for a wonderful cake business and also a rebrand for a company getting set for a move to an exclusive London address next year.
I can’t blog without mentioning the photography though, with bookings for weddings next year; product photography from delicious turkeys to hi tech infrastructure; our charity work at a local school meeting the hilarious Romesh Ranganathan; as well as some car photography which continues to be a personal passion of mine.
Before Christmas we are working for clients on market research, illustration, adobe creative cloud tuition, branding and identity, and website design and build. That reminds me I must buy the wife a prezzie in among all of this!!
